What’s happening to Joyn?
After August 30th 2022, the Joyn.co website and social platforms will be shutting down. We are so thankful to all our members for building such a bold, loving every.body community that will now continue to thrive beyond this space. Although there won’t be new Joyn classes, you can keep moving with your favorite existing classes on Joyn’s YouTube Channel.

Will all the Joyn classes just disappear?
NOPE! We are moving them!  You’ll be able to access many Joyn classes on the Joyn YouTube Channel.

How can I connect with my favorite Joyn Instructor?
Your favorite bestie is on social media! We suggest following them and letting them know you would love to continue moving with them!

When is my last day to access my account?
You will be able to access your Joyn account up until August 30th, 2022.

What happens to my Joyn account?
Protecting your account data has always been a top priority for us. By the end of August, we’ll be shutting down access to your Joyn account and your personal information will be deleted (other than the information we need to meet legal obligations). Any personal information we retain will be in accordance with Joyn’s Privacy Policy.

What does movement for every.body mean?
Access to joyful movement is a right, not a privilege. We believe equality begins with the realization that every.body has a choice, a voice and agency. All types of bodies deserve the right to engage in movement, and at Joyn we want to provide a space to make these possibilities visible and accessible. We value every.body and we want this to be reflected in the way we build community and include all -- because here everyone is welcome.

Do you offer any class variations?
Mobility is different for every.body, and movement is definitely not one size fits all. Our classes are made with our community in mind and our instructors offer a variety of inclusive and accessible classes, seated and standing, to work with every.body, age, and mobility level!

What types of classes do you offer?
Our talented instructors offer a great range of free classes. With so much to try we invite you to find what works for you whether that’s yoga, dance, pilates, stretching, HIIT, Tai Chi, meditation, boxing, strength training, or cardio. However you feel like moving today, we are here to support you every step of the way!

How often are classes added to joyn?
We want to keep the party going! Which is why we upload new classes to our catalog every week! Be sure to check back in often and see what our instructors come up with next -- you won’t want to miss it!

Where do I go to watch my joyn classes?
You can watch your joyn classes on desktop or mobile by going to app.joyn.co

How do I add the joyn site to my smartphone home screen?
On iOS
1. Launch Safari on your iOS device.
2. Go to app.joyn.co
3. Tap the share icon.
4. Select Add to Home Screen
5. On this page, edit the joyn site name if desired.
6. Tap Add to make a home screen shortcut

On Android
1. Launch Chrome for Android.
2. Go to app.joyn.co
3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner)
4. Tap Add to Home screen
5. On this page, edit the joyn site name if desired.
6. Tap Add to make a home screen shortcut

How do I watch joyn classes on my TV?

You can wirelessly display any joyn class on a smart TV from your mobile device or computer through Airplay or Chromecast. You can also view joyn on a TV by connecting your device with an HDMI cable.

Here’s how to establish a wireless connection:

Airplay for iOS
1. Once joyn is open, swipe down from the top-right corner to access the Control Center.
2. Tap "Screen Mirroring."
3. Select your preferred screen.
4. Tap anywhere on the screen to return to the joyn mobile web page.
5. Make sure you device is in landscape mode and enjoy your class!

Chromecast for Android
1. Make sure your mobile phone or tablet is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device
2. Open the Google Home app
3. On the homepage of the app, tap  the device you want to cast your screen to
4. Select ‘Cast my screen’ button Select ‘Cast screen’ in pop up window (if applicable)
5. Open internet browser on your mobile device
6. Navigate to app.joyn.co
7.
Sign in to your joyn account
8. Navigate to the class detail page of the class you wish to cast
9. Play class in fullscreen mode
10. Rotate device from portrait to landscape orientation

Chromecast for Windows
1. Make sure your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast device
2. On your computer, open a Chrome browser
3. Select ellipsis (3-dot) menu next to the URL field on your Chrome browser
4. Select cast in the menu
5. Select the device you wish to cast to in the Cast tab pop up window
6. Navigate to app.joyn.co on your Chrome browser
7. Sign in to your joyn accoun
8. Navigate to the class detail page of the class you wish to cast
9. Play class in fullscreen mode

What types of equipment do I need for class?
Joyn classes are made for all levels of movement. While many of our classes are offered with no equipment necessary, our instructors can feature anything up to: Yoga mat, yoga block, yoga wheel, 3-5 lb weights, 5-10 lb weights, resistance bands, chair, towel, foam roller, and yes even your everyday household items! 

Is this a fitness and weight loss platform?
Integrity and body neutrality are important to us. In creating an inclusive and accessible space where every.body is welcome we like to leave the weight loss and diet talk at the door. No room for judgement here.

How can I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, please send us an email with the subject “Delete My Account” to support@joyn.co. Let us know the email your account is registered to and we will coordinate the rest.
